Alcohol Addiction

Center Rehab

Naturally, I comprehensively analyzed the yesterday, today and tomorrow of my own life. As I reached realizations that were quite astonishing, I pondered on where I saw myself in five years. I desired to know my prospects and how circumstances could allow me to one day see “the pot of gold” at the end of the rainbow after my stay at the center rehab program. Frankly, I was no longer enjoying the buzz I once felt when nursing a drink. I hoped the center rehab program would allow my objectives to bring happiness for a man of reason or if there was the slimmest chance that I was too finicky. I may have even been afraid of finding joy and contentment with new commitments. I slowly became determined to seek help through a center rehab program and make leaps to alter my alcohol addiction to a life of positive living and sobriety.

I had a desire to reinvent my life from the unhappy, selfish man I sadly had become. With the help of the center rehab program, I wanted to make new friends, find new hobbies and interests, and possibly exercise and diet to lose the excess 30 pounds I gained during my slump. I was going to ensure the center rehab program would help me accomplish this challenge instantly. That’s when I finally made a decision not to delay this objective or wait around any longer. Going into the center rehab program would be quite difficult—especially at first—however, I was certainly up to the great challenge of becoming sober. It was not my intention to come out of this a failure. The center rehab program would be the starting block for me to set goals of priority in a brief duration of time. I decided to give up drinking and join a support group within the center rehab program. Thankfully, the support was second to none and I found the meetings helpful.

Before I decided to enter the center rehab program, I enjoyed my drinking to the tilt and I didn’t give a care to what anyone else thought about my situation. Yes, my own beautiful children—or my “beauties” as I called them—were gradually growing distant. They couldn’t tolerate my insistent bickering with my wife, and even suggested for me to enter a center rehab program. I had a promising career as an accountant and was once considered a partner for a Big 6 accounting firm in New York. That endeavor was blown to smithereens because I desired a drink more than practice accounting. Unfortunately before center rehab program, my income declined and I eventually lost my job.

Prior to going into the center rehab program, my former friends gradually disappeared. I was once the life of the party (so to speak), and now I was labeled a “drunk and a buffoon.” My debt was escalating and I had trouble holding a job with various employment agencies. Eventually, I decided to look at brochures and search the Internet for information regarding a center rehab program. The poor excuses I continually made were only blaming others and whining. That’s when I made the initial step to survive by going into a center rehab program.

My nature makes it difficult for me to admit any chance of defeat. I finally decided to write down a battle plan to fight my alcohol addiction and achieve sobriety via a center rehab program.
At the center rehab program, I became engaged in playing tennis, jogging and reading business books. Not only did I lose nearly 20 pounds with a low carbohydrate diet, but I am on my way to re-entering the corporate world as an accountant. I haven’t touched a drink in over two months and I am working out differences with my wife and children.

I had written a battle plan for after my stay in the center rehab program:
· I begin my return to life with a clear mind and body.

· I intend to maintain myself only in present time as I learned in center rehab program. I will not be using illegal substances and daydreaming about my past.
· I will no longer associate myself with breaking laws and will adhere to good conduct, raising my ethics and maintaining my honor.

· I will not suppress people by controlling their advancement as I did before center rehab program. Whenever I feel suppressed and ill, I will address the problem by confronting it and change it trying something different or disconnect from it entirely.
· I will examine all situations in my life and determine the condition and apply corrective formula charting the change in direction. I will apply this to all my dynamics and keep a daily list of what to do next.

· I will continue my progress from center rehab program on keeping and improving my health and physical appearance.
· I will treat people with friendliness, respect, kindness and empathy as I learned in center rehab program.

· I will conduct my business and relationships with fairness and will seek a fair exchange as my minimum standard. I will give exchange in abundance whenever it is pleasing and productive, as learned in center rehab program.

· I will set attainable goals from center rehab program, find the good in everything and produce a product that is exchangeable.

· I will concentrate all efforts around economizing and eliminating waste of my time and money, as I learned in center rehab program.

Imagine feeling like life’s ultimate loser during a crisis of mid life and being reduced to a nobody. There was a time when I didn’t have any trouble making friends at school, work, dating and during recreation. Then it happened to me one day…a center rehab program became a serious consideration when my wife of over twenty years no longer any part of me due to the severe drinking. I was in a condition of self-denial and being an alcoholic made me feel good.
