Alcohol Treatment Rehab
I am at a point in my life where I don’t have a craving for any
alcohol. I once lived my life of not only drinking beers before, during
and after dinner, but I would spend my weekends and holidays mixing 3
ounce alcoholic drinks. I am currently helping a 32-year-old mother with
three young children. As she was expecting her last child, she spent 5-7
months craving for alcohol before she decided to seek help at alcohol
treatment rehab. Today, she no longer has a craving for the alcohol that
dominated her life after her husband walked out on her. A middle-aged
woman used to consume three antidepressants and other non-prescribed
medication, as well as abusing alcohol. Today, her life is drug and
alcohol free—thanks to alcohol treatment rehab. Another woman wanted to
stop drinking so she could lose weight. Not only does she drink less since
alcohol treatment rehab, but she no longer has cravings for unhealthy
foods. She cut her food and alcohol consumption by about 80%. As you can
see, I’m not the only one that benefited from alcohol treatment rehab.
My life has been an absolute blast since I left alcohol treatment rehab.
Currently, I am nine months away from my addiction to alcohol and I feel
fantastic. I lost nearly 30 pounds and I no longer suffer from high lipid
levels and blood glucose. The alcohol treatment rehab taught me that I can
achieve sobriety by not only abstaining from alcohol, but exercising daily
to live a healthy lifestyle. Now, I don’t have one bottle of liquor in my
home to restore the addiction I once possessed. Not only am I slimmer and
appear more attractive, but my new health since alcohol treatment rehab
has me controlling my diabetes of type 2. I was once a woman that couldn’t
say no to the occasional social drink and not before long, I craved
alcohol on a consistent basis. It got to the point that the occasional
social drink was no longer enough, as I became an alcoholic. My sisters
suggested that it was time for me to consider alcohol treatment rehab.
There was a time when I couldn’t hold a job for more than two to three
months at a time. Before my stay at alcohol treatment rehab, I walked
around as an angry woman constantly. I was insecure since childhood, and I
couldn’t control my hostile jealousies toward anyone I felt was more
successful and content. I wasn’t able to meet the expectations family and
loved ones had of me, so I found consolation in alcohol intake. Since my
stay at the alcohol treatment rehab facility, I still battle with
insecurity and lack of self-esteem occasionally. However, now I’m capable
of accepting aspects of life without succumbing to alcohol and other
substances. It’s not always easy, but I know that I can get to the point
where I have control. Today, I have plenty of hope for my future, as I
have more stable feelings due to my achievement at the alcohol treatment
rehab program. It’s almost unbelievable how much faith I have in myself
these days as a sober individual.
I had written a strategy of perpetual achievement for after my stay at the
alcohol treatment rehab facility. I promised to return to my former life
with a fresh outlook, clear body and sound mind. I was determined to find
maintenance in my life after the alcohol treatment rehab. I made a
decision not to abuse my body with illegal alcohol and dwell on the past
before the alcohol treatment rehab facility. I decided not to make an
association with any negative influence in my life, break any laws or
adapt bad behavior. I raised my ethics and continue to maintain integrity
since alcohol treatment rehab. I learned to never suppress individuals by
having a control over their progress and help. In the moments I feel sick
and oppressed, I will address my dilemma immediately, as I confront the
problem and try something totally different, even if it means
disconnecting from the dilemma fully. I promise to analyze every situation
and allocate what I learned at alcohol treatment rehab facility to
consider any condition and apply a formula of correction to alter the
course. This procedure will be applied to every dynamic, as I compose a
list of daily activities since recovery from alcohol treatment rehab.
Today, I am a counselor at the alcohol treatment rehab facility where I
was once a client. I find it rewarding and helpful to my perpetual state
of sobriety. I still have several decades in my recovery to enjoy a
productive life thanks to alcohol treatment rehab. I am a woman in my
thirties and feel that there is so much out there for me to accomplish
before retirement. I am an encouragement to recovering addicts at the
alcohol treatment rehab facility, the same way staff and clientele were an
encouragement during my rehabilitation. It’s amazing how the benefits are
actually multi-fold from sobriety and recovery. It is a complete joy for
me to live my life day to day as a woman that no longer desires liquor. I
don’t have a taste for the alcohol I once craved—thanks to alcohol
treatment rehab. My daily intake of alcohol was once two times more than
that of the average social drinker. I got to the point during alcohol
treatment rehab that I couldn’t even imagine having dinner without at
least three beers to satisfy me. Today, I can go the supermarket and shop
without even looking down the aisles for beers and wine coolers. I just
don’t have that desire for a quick buzz from alcohol anymore—not even an
ice cold beer on a hot summer day. Now, I quench my thirst with water,
juice or iced tea. Alcohol treatment rehab has been a great help for me to
learn to sleep well and wake up in the mornings without a hangover, high
anxiety, and constant worries.
